Competition for undoing bras in China

Just as we're sure there would be if it was held in the UK, queues of eager chaps lined up for a "bra undoing" competition in China.

The brainchild of the "Modern Department Store" in Guangzhou in southern China, eight female volunteers, disguised with masks, were recruited to reveal their bra fastenings to the waiting contestants.

Each contestant then enjoyed a minute (or less) of bra clip-snapping but with one catch... they could only use one hand.

But unsurprisingly, try as they might, the boys just couldn't beat years of experience when it came to ladies lingerie and the winner was a woman who took just 21 seconds to undo all eight bras.

She said of her victory: "It's very fun to play this. I never expect I can win such game. Maybe I had too much practice in daily life."

Well, possibly... but we were more concerned by the organisers' view of the competition.

A spokesman for the mall said: "This activity is to let more people understand the bra culture, and to explore the bra secrets."

Clearly the Brits are lacking in "bra culture" and as far as exploring the "secrets", we're guessing it's what lies beneath that holds the most interest for the menfolk.
