Taiwanese woman to marry herself

While the world has not yet settled with the issue of gay marriage, here is another interesting wedding-story-to-be that will arouse curiosity.

Chen Wei-yih, a Taiwanese employee, has finally decided to do what many women has been dreaming of since being a young girl--to get married.




The 30-year-old Chen will, on 6 November, get married to herself. Yes, you heard it right.

Trying to prove the traditional Asian perception of single, independent women as failures, Chen will marry herself.


So, on that special day, this independent woman will don a floor-length white gown and flowing veil, carry a fragrant bouquet and enjoy meal with dozens of her closest pals and kins.




Quoted by Reuters, Chen said, "Age 30 is a prime period for me. My work and experience are in good shape, but I haven't found a partner, so what can I do?"



The intriguing bride says on her Facebook page, "We must love ourselves before we love others. You didn't just marry yourself, you showed the world that this is [a] time for women. They can do everything and no one can judge or control them."



Of course, just like every wedding, can honeymoon be far behind? Chen plans to embark on a solo honeymoon to Australia, according to The Korea Herald.

Bra for $ 2 million

Brazilian model Adriana Lima was photographed showing off her assets in a 2 million dollar diamond-encrusted bra in New York.
Lima, 29, who wore a pale blue satin gown, which was cutaway to reveal her chest completely, was modelling the Bombshell fantasy bra at Victoria's Secret Soho store in New York, the Daily Mail reported.




The bra, which had been designed in collaboration with Italian jeweller Damiani, contained more than 3,000 jewels, and it took six craftsmen 1,500 hours of work to complete.

The model attracted a number of stares from men and women alike as she stood on the pink carpet, and a security team was required to safeguard the bra's incredible 142 carats of white diamonds, topazes and sapphires.

The Salvador-born beauty is the second highest paid underwear
model in the world thanks to her mega bucks contract with Victoria's Secret, coming behind former fellow Victoria's Secret model Heidi Klum.
